Installing the RadioProbe System                   Home              Back

1)    Load the RadioProbe software from cd or download the latest version here :       RadioProbeAug03.zip

2)    Connect the Receiver to a serial port.

3)    Run   RadioProbe System       Go to the "Settings" screen.

4)    Switch on one RadioProbe for 2 seconds.        You will see its serial number appear in the Inactive list.

5)    Select the serial number and then click a position in the Active list.  You have now activated the RadioProbe.

6)    Enter the location description then activate the other RadioProbes.

7)    Press "Go back to main screen" and then switch on the RadioProbes. They will display at the top of the screen.

8)    Place the RadioProbes in the required positions.

The System is now installed and should continue to record.

It is quite likely that transmissions will not be received at the pc when the RadioProbes are placed in step 8.

Place one or more Rebroadcast Units between the RadioProbe and Receiver to relay the signal.

It is good practice to use at least one Rebroadcast Unit even in the smallest system.
